Finding What is LOST

So far this week has been a good one. This past weekend was spent in Vermont with my mom, two of my aunts, and my cousin Christina. We had a nice ladies' getaway, and let me just tell you- my mom and my aunts still know how to tear up the town. Saturday night we went to this bar right by the base of the mountain called The Loft and had waaay more fun than we could have expected.  The place was packed with 20-35 year olds, all of whom wanted to buy Mom and Aunt Michele shots of whatever their hearts desired. It was hilarious.

Tuesday night, my good friend Shayla invited me to go to the annual Musicians On Call benefit at the Hard Rock in Times Square. We got to see the band her dad Scott manages, Jypsi, kick ASS before the main event-- Seal! Holy crap is Seal way sexier than I ever thought before. After seeing him perform like 10 feet away from me in person, I can honestly say, Heidi Klum- I get it. After that Kristen, Shayla and myself dragged Scott to Angels and Kings for a few drinks and a hell of a lot of dancing. We didn't last too long there, as Kristen had to go home and so did Scott. Shayla and I continued on and headed over to Home Sweet Home where my homeboys Brandon Reilly and Vin Galvin were djing. Sarah and Gurj also came and it was so great to see them! I'm so looking forward to tomorrow night when we will all be together again to celebrate Sarah's birthday at Hanger Bar.

Now... last but certainly not least... incase you've been living under or a rock (or studying abroad) for the past several weeks, LOST comes back tonight for an all new episode-- the first one in like 260 days or something retarded like that. I cannot tell you how freakin' stoked I am. To make things even better, my boyfriend Joe is coming to visit me in the Bronx, and I'm going to attempt making us dinner beforehand, then we can watch the show together. I can't wait!

Time to get cleaned up. Enjoy LOST!

Fox's "The Moment of Truth"

This new show is absolutely ridiculous! And I mean that in the best way possible. Incase you haven't caught it yet, this is how it works- they put a contestant on stage and ask him/her a series of yes or no questions to which the contestant must answer truthfully. Before the show, the same questions were asked to the person while they were hooked up to a lie detector test, so they have the results stored and they're revealed as the show goes on. Every 6 questions or so, so long as the contestant has answered them all correctly, they win a certain amount of money. That amount increases each time. If the contestant does not tell the truth, they lose all the money earned thus far and they're dunzo.

Here's where it gets interesting- three of the contestant's family and/or friends (usually a significant other is present) are there, and the questions get downright BRUTAL. This stuff is bound to break up marriages, no joke.

Dude on right now has a serious gambling problem and they're just nailing away at him with all these intense questions about how much money he's lost, if he's gambled away his children's college funds, oh snap and now they're going for the relationship questions: "Have you ever made a pass at one of Lily's [his longtime girlfriend] friends?" "Would you break up with Lily if your ex-wife [of 18 years] wanted to get back together with you?"

God, why didn't I think of this show?!? Sheer brilliance.
